York Cottage is located in
an unrivalled position on a quiet lane within
Sidmouth's town centre. It is a stones throw to the beach, shops,
restaurants and many recreational facilities. "The Byes" National
Trust riverside walk, park and swimming pool are also within a
short walk. The accommodation has been refurbished with seaside
tones throughout, and boasts a spacious secluded courtyard, perfect
for al fresco summer dinners.
The entrance hall has rooms leading
off. The Charming sitting room has an electric wood burner and
French doors leading to the picturesque south facing enclosed
patio.
There is a separate brightly
decorated dining room with an open plan archway and two steps up to
a modern, well equipped, quality kitchen with integrated units with
a glass door to the private patio.
There is a downstairs WC.
From the hall, stairs (slightly
steep) lead to the first floor where there are two pretty bedrooms
and a family bathroom.
Bedroom 1: A spacious bedroom with
a double bed and double aspect windows with
blackout curtains.
Bedroom 2: There are twin 2"6' beds
and dual aspect windows with blackout curtains.
Bathroom- There is a newly fitted
shower room with a walk in shower, sink and W.C.
Outside Space: The enclosed
patio garden is a sunny and sheltered spot ideal for al fresco
dining being well equipped with garden furniture and
chiminea.
Parking: Reserved parking place on
the private Holmdale car park a 3-5 minutes level walk from the
cottage. Guests are able to unload directly outside the
property.

the Jurassic Coast whilst enjoying
stunning walks in Areas of
Outstanding Natural Beauty and The
South West Coast Path. The Donkey Sanctuary, Crealy and Seaton
Tramway are all nearby for fun filled days with the
kids. There are a wide range of activities nearby,
from Paddleboarding and water
skiing to Golf at Sidmouth
Golf Club. Sidmouth and the nearby local towns have a
wealth of independent boutique shops, cafes and restaurants,
including Otterton
Mill and The
Pig at Combe.
