"The Cottage" is located in a pretty, quiet residential area of the town within a short level walking distance of the town centre, shops, restaurants, and beach.
A small entrance lobby leads into a nicely furnished living room with electric fire. There is a well-equipped fitted kitchen with quality appliances plus a bright conservatory with a pine suite leading into a small outside patio area.
On the first floor there are two pretty bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds (2'6" wide).
There is a fitted tiled white bathroom with separate shower cubicle, bath and WC.
There is unrestricted roadside parking around 5-10 minutes walk or Jacobs Ladder long stay car park is a 10-minute walk away. Tickets are £25 per week and cover all East Devon council car parks.
Sidmouth is a brilliant base for any age of guest, enjoy delicious food at great retaurants such as The Pea Green Boat to Lympstone Manor. Explore a range of activities on offer from nearby beaches off the South West Coat Path to day trips to The Donkey Sanctuary and Seaton Tramway. There is paddleboarding & kayaking available over the summer from Sidmouth beach or enjoy a round of golf at Sidmouth or Honiton Golf Club.
By car: From the A3052 Exeter to Lyme Regis road at the Bowd Inn take the B3175 turning towards Sidmouth.
By bus: From Exeter bus station take number 9 bus to Sidmouth Triangle. Approximately 50 minutes.
By train: The closest train station is Honiton. Approximately 15 minutes away.
By plane: The closest airport is Exeter International. Approximately 30 minutes
