Mr Andrew Hole-Jones

We’ve stayed at Robin before and if you want a chilled relaxing holiday right by the beach in a fantastic location, then this is the place for you, if you want bright lights and entertainment then you wont like it. The chalet is perfect for a beach (pebble/sand) holiday, with a great outside deck area to sit and read your book or eat your meals. The kitchen/dining area is functional but cramped, so we did most of our eating and food prep outside, the lounge and verandah are excellent and the bedrooms are cosy, we all loved going to sleep listening to the sound of the sea. The only negative is the access to the chalet, since the storms in November 23, when the access road got washed away, there is now only a track wide enough for two people to walk side by side, so all your luggage, shopping and what ever else you take with you, has to be unloaded in the Shanty car park and then carried or trollied down the track to the chalet, this can be a bit of a chore as the car park can get busy at 4pm (the time you are allowed to get in to the chalet) and if you have to do multiple trips like we did, but it is definitely worth the effort.
