Porch Cottage is a cosy 16th Century thatch cottage
on Sidford high street. It has many character features including
exposed beams and low ceilings! Sidford is a thriving village with
a pretty riverside walk and cycle path through The Byes along the
River Sid leading to Sidmouth and the coast approximately 2-mile
level walk. Sidford has a Spar supermarket, Fish & Chip shop,
two good pubs and a very good restaurant, The Salty Monk, and is well
positioned for exploring the lovely towns and villages close
by.
The private entrance leads into the lounge, with two comfy
sofas, feature fire-place and dining area.
Off the lounge is the well-equipped kitchen.
There is a downstairs bathroom with shower over the bath and
basin, with a separate W.C.
Upstairs there is a further W.C and basin, plus two
bedrooms.
Bedroom 1: King size bed with wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Bedroom 2: Twin bedroom with wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Private patio area at the front with a bench seat.
Parking: A parking permit is provided free of charge for the Car
Park in Sidford, behind Spar, a few minutes from the cottage.

Donkey Sanctuary, Crealy and Pecorama are all nearby
for fun filled days with the kids. There are a wide range of
activities nearby, from Paddleboarding and water skiing to Golf
at Sidmouth Golf Club.
Sidmouth and the nearby local towns have a wealth of independent
boutique shops, cafes and restaurants, including Otterton
Mill and Lympstone Manor.
