Overview

Higher Thorn Stable is a superb, recently refurbished, bungalow style barn conversion on the outskirts of Salcombe Regis, near Sidmouth. It occupies a truly enviable semi-rural location adjacent to open fields where donkeys graze, and just a few minutes' walk from the South West Coast Path on the Jurassic Coast. The Donkey Sanctuary is a 15-minute walk and Sidmouth is approximately an hour's walk along the coastal path, with breath-taking, cliff-top views of Lyme Bay. The accommodation is beautifully furnished with tasteful décor throughout and many homely touches, lovingly cared for by the owner who lives in the nearby thatched cottage. 

Enter into open plan accommodation with high quality oak furnishings and oak flooring, comprising a spacious living area with a woodburner style electric fire and a range of kitchen units and dining table. 

There is a King size bed with quality bedding and linen.

The separate shower room has a large shower cubicle, hand basin and WC, to include a water softener.  

Outside there is a lovely enclosed patio garden with uninterrupted views across the Donkey Sanctuary fields towards the coastal path. 

There is private parking adjacent with level gravel access.

If traveling in a group, Higher Thorn Barn can be booked next door to accommodate up to 5 people plus pets across the two properties.
