Overview

Burnham is a spacious, elegant Edwardian villa situated in the heart of Sidmouth, in a quiet residential area just a few minutes level walk from the town centre and esplanade with a wide sweeping pebble beach.

The house has been lovingly prepared with tasteful, soothing colour schemes throughout with brand new beautiful furnishings throughout.  Many original features have been retained including ornate coving, large sash windows and feature fireplaces.

A really comfortable and beautiful property. The downstairs space particularly worked very well, with seating in the kitchen and then chance to relax in the very well furnished sitting room. We couldn’t use the dining room chairs as they were very uncomfortable with saggy seat pads! But plenty of other seating space so really not a problem. Once the Aga was on and up to temperature it was a real joy to use! Cooking on it was so easy with the added bonus of being able to dry clothing after being caught in heavy rain! Perfect location for exploring Sidmouth and beyond - we walked to Budleigh Salterton from the house and didn’t use the car all week. A real treat!
