Shell Cottage is a spacious, stylish cottage situated in the heart of Sidmouth, in a quiet residential area just a few minutes level walk from the town centre and esplanade with wide sweeping pebble beach. The property has an enclosed patio style garden with seating for five guests. The house has recently been lovingly refurbished with tasteful, soothing colour schemes and beautiful furnishings throughout.

Lounge/Diner: A beautiful spacious open plan lounge and dining area with comfortable sofas and a smart TV with Netflix available. 

Kitchen: modern kitchen with quality appliances including a Nespresso coffee machine.

A door leading to large enclosed patio style garden with garden furniture. Storage for bicycles etc.

Ground floor cloakroom with WC.

Bedroom 1: Good sized bedroom with a king size bed and a TV.

Bedroom 2: Double bedroom

Bedroom 3: Single bedroom.  

Bathroom: Lovely suite with walk in shower, bath, basin and WC.

Outside space: At the rear, there is an enclosed patio garden with outdoor seating and a pretty arbour seat, a real sun trap, perfect for spending lazy afternoons. There is a walk-in storage room accessed from the garden containing everything you need for the beach, including 5 beach chairs, mats, buckets & spades, and beach toys. Please note there is no lawn area.

WIFI: This property has full fibre broadband. 

Parking: This property has a permit for one space in the Mill Street car park just opposite the cottage. 

If your party has further cars, the long stay car park is located on Manor Road near Jacobs Ladder approximately 10-15 min walk. 3-7 day digital permits can be purchased online through the EDDC website or the RingGo parking app. These tickets are valid in all East Devon District car parks (note maximum stay).

Guests can explore the  Jurassic Coast whilst enjoying stunning walks in  Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and The South West Coast Path. The Donkey Sanctuary, Crealy and Pecorama are all nearby for fun filled days with the kids. There are a wide range of activities nearby, from Paddleboarding and water skiing to Golf at  Sidmouth Golf Club. Sidmouth and the nearby local towns have a wealth of independent boutique shops, cafes and restaurants, including Otterton Mill and Lympstone Manor.
