Overview

Beachcomber Holiday Apartment is a beautifully designed first floor property located just stone's throw away from Exmouth's long, sandy beach. Set over two floors, The Apartment is well planned offering all you need for your "self-catering holiday time" relaxing on the many beaches, or if required, an energetic holiday with such an array of water sports and bike hire centres, located close by, with so many hospitality venues on your doorstep, and first-class attractions, you will definitely enjoy the relaxed holiday feel of Exmouth, hang up your car keys for your stay and travel around Devon by the many train links, (just a 5-8 minute flat walk from BHA, to Exmouth train station) and enjoy the £3 Bus Ride around Devon, per single trip. The apartment is located just 50 steps from Exmouth beach, and the Exe Trail cycle route and Mamhead slipway, just right for launching your boat, tender SUP/Kayak or canoe.

Open Plan Living Area: The lounge/dining room and open plan kitchen is fully equipped, microwave, toaster, kettle, wine rack, four ring hob, oven, with a good size window overlooking the balcony, with plenty of natural light, the L-shaped sofa offers easy viewing on the wall mounted TV, (dog throw covers supplied) a lovely nautical bay window with seating, with views of the sea, the  full shower room and toilet, is located on this level.

Bedroom 1: The Master bedroom, benefits from Exmouth beach sea views, with a Super King bed, plenty of wardrobe storage, dressing table set in the bay window, with views of the sea and slipway, hairdryer and full-length mirror, this room is tastefully decorated complimented by the yellow/turquoise modern canvas paintings. Please note the bed can be made up as two single 3' beds on request prior to the start of booking. 

Bedroom 2: The second "cabin room" has the "quirky" raised king size bed, accessed via a traditional wood 5 tread ships ladder, with a roomy "cupboard/den" located underneath the bed, old fashioned ships lighting, this nautical themed room, is very appealing for boat enthusiast and youngsters.

Family Bathroom: A family bathroom is located just off the living room with a walk-in shower, sink with storage underneath and W.C

Outside Space: The main feature of this Apartment is the relaxed "Tiki" "beers on the balcony", with artificial grass, nautical sail cloth railings windbreak, ornate wine rack, featured slalom ski bar shelf, above the outdoor bar dining table with stool seating, and soft lighting.  The restful sun loungers are ideal for sunbathing and just snoozing in the sun, the balcony is just right for your "al fresco" takeaways, meals or just chatting over the day's events!

The exterior staircase, with artificial grass, is an area for SUP/Kayak/Canoe vertical parking, the artificial grass base is to reduce board damage while stored upright, situated to the right of the SUP park is a large lockable equipment store, housing the beach trolly, beach games, picnic thermal bag, picnic blanket, crabbing nets, buckets, spades, rugby ball, rounders set plus wetsuit hanging hooks! 

Parking: The apartment benefits from a garage that is next to the apartment and suitable for one car (please ask for garage measurements)  Guests are welcome to use this for personal water sports and bike equipment. A Parking Permit can also be provided for a nearby car park on request, prior to your stay with your car registration. 

Dogs: One small dog accepted and T's and C's apply

Situated just off the Exe trail cycle/walking route and South West Coast Path, with easy access to Exeter canal and only a minutes' walk from two miles of sandy beach. It's the perfect base for a couple or solo traveller looking to explore Exmouth and beyond. Enjoy brilliant restaurants nearby such as Michael Caines restaurant 'Mickeys' on Exmouth seafront or hop on a water taxi to the River Exe Cafe. Guests can enjoy nearby activities such as water sports with Edge & Exewake, bird watching from Seaton tram or a boat trip with Stuart Line Cruises for a different view of the Jurassic Coast.

Travel information to Devon

By car: Exmouth: From the M5 motorway exit at Exeter follow the signs down the dual carriageway to Exmouth. This leads on the A376 road down into Exmouth. Topsham: From the M5 motorway exit at Exeter follow the signs down the dual carriageway to Exmouth & turn off at the roundabout for Topsham.

By bus: Exmouth & Topsham: From Exeter take route number 57 to Exmouth & Topsham. Approximately 1 hour.

By train: Exmouth has a central train station with good connections. Topsham has a small train station that has a direct line to Exmouth & Exeter with good connections.

By plane: The closest airport is Exeter International. Approximately 20 minutes.
