"Beachcomber Holiday Apartment is a beautifully designed first
floor "quirky" maisonette located just stone's throw away from
Exmouth's long, sandy beach. Set over two floors, the Apartment is
well planned offering all you need for your "self-catering holiday
time" relaxing on the many beaches, or if required, an energetic
holiday with such an array of water sports and bike hire centres,
located close by. With so many hospitality venues on your
doorstep, and first-class attractions, you will definitely enjoy
the relaxed holiday feel of Exmouth, hang up your car keys for your
stay and travel around Devon via the many train links, (just a 5-8
minute flat walk from BHA, to Exmouth train station), or enjoy the
£3 Bus Ride around Devon, per single trip. The apartment is located
just 50 steps from Exmouth beach, and the popular South West
Coastal Path, and also the Exe Trail cycle route, plus Mamhead
slipway, just right for launching your boat, tender SUP/Kayak or
canoe.
Open Plan Living Area: The lounge/dining room and open plan
kitchen is fully equipped, with microwave, toaster, kettle, wine
rack, high chair, fresh pod coffee machine, under counter
fridge/freezer, washing machine, four ring hob, oven. A good
size window overlooking the balcony, with plenty of natural light,
and the L-shaped sofa offers easy viewing on the wall mounted TV,
(dog throw covers supplied) a lovely nautical bay window with
padded seating, views of the sea, the full shower room and
toilet, is located on this level.
Bedroom 1: The Master bedroom, benefits from Exmouth beach sea
views, with a Super King bed, plenty of wardrobe storage, dressing
table set in the bay window, with views of the sea and slipway,
wall mounted TV, hairdryer and full-length mirror, this room is
tastefully decorated complimented by the yellow/turquoise modern
canvas paintings. Please note the bed can be made up
as two single 3' beds on request prior to the start of
booking. Travel cot available.
Bedroom 2: The second "cabin room" has the "quirky" raised king
size bed, accessed via a traditional wood 5 tread ships ladder,
with a roomy "cupboard/den" located underneath the bed, old
fashioned ships lighting, this nautical themed room, is very
appealing for boat enthusiast and youngsters.
Family Bathroom: A family bathroom is located just off the
living room with a walk-in shower, sink with storage underneath and
W.C
Understairs storage cupboard: housing iron and ironing board on
wall brackets, large selection of board games, coat hanging space,
shoe tray, portable cloths dryer picnic thermal bag, balcony
throws/cushions, sun loungers.
Outside Space: The main feature of this Apartment is the relaxed
"Tiki" "beers on the balcony", with artificial grass, nautical sail
cloth railings windbreak, ornate wine rack, featured slalom ski bar
shelf, above the outdoor bar dining table with stool seating, and
soft lighting. The restful sun loungers are ideal for
sunbathing and just snoozing in the sun, the balcony is just right
for your "al fresco" takeaways, meals or just chatting over the
day's events!
The exterior staircase, with artificial grass, is an area for
SUP/Kayak/Canoe vertical parking, the artificial grass base is to
reduce board damage while stored upright, situated to the right of
the SUP park is a large lockable equipment store, housing the beach
trolly, beach games, picnic chairs, crabbing nets, buckets, spades,
rugby ball, rounders set plus wetsuit hanging hooks!
Parking: The apartment benefits from a garage that is next to
the apartment (Templeton Court) and suitable for one car (please
ask for garage measurements) Guests are welcome to use this
for personal water sports and bike equipment. All vehicles
must be either parked within the garage or a Parking Permit can
also be provided for a nearby car park on request, prior to your
stay with your car registration.
Baggage Transfers: When booking BHA baggage transfers can be
requested for South West Coastal Path walkers, 26 miles either East
to West, or luggage transfer available from Exmouth Train Station
to the Apartment
Dogs: One small dog allowed per booking and must be under
spaniel size, as stated by the Templeton Court Ltd Management
Company lease. No other animals allowed in BHA due to lease
restrictions and Holiday Let Insurance Policy clauses. Full T's and
