Woodbine Cottage is Grade 2 listed and forms part of a pretty row of cottages situated in the heart of Sidmouth town centre within a few minutes level stroll to the shops, pubs, restaurants, beach, cricket ground and delightful gardens.The cottage has been extensively renovated to include a recently installedkitchen and bathroom. The furnishings are tasteful and thoughtfully presented, with many homely touches throughout. There is an enclosed south facing patio style garden at the rear with garden furniture and a small private parking space.


Spacious very well furnished sitting room with tasteful comfortable furniture and colour schemes. Fireplace with electric fire. Dining area with good quality oak dining suite and pine dresser. Newly installed, well equipped modern fitted kitchen. Utility room with WC, washbasin and washing machine. On the first floor are two beautifully presented bedrooms; one has a double bed and the second bedroom has a single bed, washbasin, and ample space for a cot. Newly installed white modern bathroom suite with separate, large shower cubicle. Separate WC and washbasin. Stairs to spacious twin bedroom with sea glimpses.All bedrooms have ample drawer and wardrobe space.

Changeover day:  Friday. 

Parking for a small car, access can be tight so ability to manoeuvre is needed

Dogs accepted at £30 each per week. (security deposit of £150.00 required) 

Gas central heating throughout. 

Gas hob and electric oven, fridge with ice box, microwave. 

Washing machine, iron, ironing board and hair dryer. 

Smart TV, DVD, radio/CD player and WiFi  

Travel cot, high chair and stairgate. 

Bed linen included.  Towels available to hire at £8 per set. 


30th March 2018 - ' Thank you for a lovely welcome. The cottage is lovely and in a great location. We recommend the Sidmouth Tandori for an Indian take away and a visit to the cinema at the end of the road which reminded me of the cinemas when I was young. All in all a very good stay. The location of this cottage is ideal for all amenities and the weather has not been too bad for this time of year. We love staying here as a little home from home. 12th February 2018 - ' Weve had a wonderful short break. The cottage is very well equipped, clean, warm & comfortable. Our girls loved the attic bedroom, now renamed 'puffin burrow'. did dog walking, swimming and lots of cosying up to read Harry Potetr and play chess. Perfectly relaxing. The Murray family.

Short Breaks are available from the end of October half term to the start of the Easter school holidays, or at the owners' discretion for a last minute booking at other times of the year. Unfortunately it would be most unusual for us to be in a position to consider a short break at peak holiday times, such as the October and February half terms or over the Christmas, New Year and Easter breaks.
