Sweetcombe Cottage Holidays has always been a family affair. Over 35 years ago, Tracy took the reins of the business with just a handful of cottages, supported by her mother Dorothy, who kept everything running smoothly from the home office. Sweetcombe has grown into a trusted name for holidays across East Devon showcasing a wide variety of holiday cottages in Devon, but at its heart, it’s still the same family-run company.
Today, Tracy’s daughters Polly and Alex continue the story, working side by side with our close-knit team. Together, we share the same passion that started it all: offering only the very best holiday cottages and making sure every guest feels at home. Family run to this day, we are still able to offer that personal service which sadly in today’s ever increasing pace of life can sorely fall by the wayside.
Because we live and work here in East Devon, we know the area inside out. Our team is friendly, enthusiastic, and always ready to help you choose the cottage that’s right for you. We don’t believe in “hard sell” or glossing over details, just honest advice and personal recommendations, so you can book with confidence and look forward to your stay. One of the joys of being a smaller, family-run company is that we know each property personally.
