About this property

Tamariskis a charming period cottage located in the heart of Sidmouth town centre, in a quiet, tucked away residential area within a five minute short level walk of the lovely individual shops, restaurants, pubs, coastal path and of course the beach with its long esplanade. The cottage has been completely refurbished to a very high standard with quality furnishings and tasteful colour schemes throughout, lots of individual touches. The owner has given much time and care to provide a top quality holiday cottage which is a real delight to spend time in. 


Entrance porch with lots room for boots and coats! Cosy comfortably furnished living room with electric wood burner effect fire. Free WiFi. Very well equipped kitchen/dining room with quality appliances dishwasher and other equipment. Pretty enclosed sunny courtyard style garden with seating.From the lounge stairs lead to the first floor. Pretty double bedroom with king size bed and fitted bedroom furniture, TV in the bedroom. Second bedroom with double bed. White bathroom suite with shower over bath, wc and hand basin.

No Pets 

The cottage does not have its own private parking space but there are some roads nearby where there is unrestricted roadside parking. You can however pull up to unload in front of the cottage. There is a large long stay car park about a 10 minute walk along the seafront, where you can purchase a weekly ticket for £25

10th October 2016 - ' Another enjoyable week in Sidmouth, we have been coming for over seven years and love it. We have a soft spot for Donkeys so a visit to Donkey Sanctuary is a must for us. We also visited Ferne animal sanctuary near Chard. We also went to Dawlish which we enjoyed which prompted us to take the train from Honiton to Paignton so that we could experience the lovely coastal views. 5th September 2015 - 'Our tenth year in Sidmouth, we love it so much. 'Tamarisk' is a lovely cottage as we've come to expect, we've never been disappointed! Our favourite place is The Donkey Sanctuary, our daughter's adopted donkey is Timothy so a visit is essential. The 'Hopper' bus is fantastic between June and September and also stops at the Norman Lockyer Observatory. Thank you for everything. p.s.
